It's time for our Family Dance!!! 🕺🌟 On January 16, 2024 our School Council will be holding a family dance from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM. We’re excited to light up the night together at our Family Glow Dance! To make the most of the glowing fun, we encourage everyone to wear white or light-colored clothing—the brighter, the better! This will help you shine under the lights and be part of the glowing experience. We can't wait to dance the night away with you! School council is asking for donations of cookies to provide as a snack during the dance. Cookies need to be store bought (Oreos, etc) and must be nut free. If you are interested in donating cookies for our dance please drop them off or send them to the school with your student by Tuesday, January 14th. Thank you so much for your kind donations. We hope to see you at the dance!

Mrs. Larson has been working with some of our Grade 4 students to establish a monthly HFA Newspaper. Our team of roving reporters has been writing and submitting articles for your reading pleasure. Please see attached, Edition 1.01 of The Grade 4 Forum - HFA’s own student created newspaper!

Hot lunch forms due this Friday! The HFA School Council will be holding another Hot Lunch on January, 27th, with food from a local vendor. PARENT, STUDENT, AND STAFF SATISFACTION RATES ARE AT 93.3%: Alberta’s average satisfaction rate is 84%. These superb satisfaction rates demonstrate HFA’s commitment to academic excellence in welcoming and caring learning environments. Parents of students in Grades 4, 7 and 10 are encouraged to fill out the Alberta Education Assurance Survey online. The survey will be available in the new year.

🎄🎄Christmas Concert!!!🎄🎄 On Thursday, December 12th, students will be performing at the HFA Christmas concert from 6:30-7:30 in the CTK/SJC gym. Students are to be there between 6:00 - 6:15, entering at the CTK main doors. Please make sure students are dressed in formal or festive clothing (no faded blue jeans). HFA HAS INVOLVED PARENTS! Our parental involvement satisfaction rate is 92.3%. Alberta’s average is 79.5%. HFA is committed to engaging its parents and prospective holders in a variety of ways to ensure involvement and influence as the primary educators of their children. Parents of students in Grade 4, 7 and 10 are encouraged to fill out the Alberta Education Assurance Survey online beginning in January.
