Kindergarten Supply List

The first day for Mrs. Lubbers Tuesday/Thursday Kindergarten students will be Thursday., Sept. 1st. We will have a staggered entry. Last names L-Z come from 9-11 and last names A-K come from 1-3. For the first day, they must be dropped off and picked up.

Welcome back! The first day of school will be a full day for Full-Time Kindergarten and Grades 1-4 from 8:35-3:15. Once again, we will have a staggered entry start. Your child will attend one of the first two days as shown below, according to their last name. All full time students will attend on Friday, Sept. 2nd from 8:35-12:05.

Attention Grade 2 parents: The busses from the Grade 2 field trip today will not arrive back at the school until closer to 4:30pm.

Congratulations to Kaylie Amundson of Holy Family Academy for receiving the Excellence in Teaching Award. The award is in recognition of Kaylie’s mastery in all teaching skills. The award was presented by Trustee Andrew Gustafson. Congratulations Kaylie!

Congratulations to Juliana Ragot of Holy Family Academy for receiving the Above and Beyond Award. The award is in recognition of performance characterized by selfless dedication, unquestioning commitment and superior skill. The award was presented by Brooks Trustee John de Jong. Congratulations Juliana!

Lost and found is growing again!

We had a wonderful turnout for our Welcome to Kindergarten afternoon at HFA! So many excited young students ready to start school in the fall 🙂. If you were unable to attend, please contact the school office to pick up your Welcome to Kindergarten gift bag filled with things to work with this summer. If you have not yet registered for Kindergarten, please call our school office and register soon - spaces are filling up!

CTR Catholic is pleased to announce the recipients of the St. Joseph Parent of Distinction Award. The award recognizes an individual who demonstrates the ability to promote parental engagement and involvement in the Catholic education system. Truly exceptional in their dedication and initiative, this individual has dynamic leadership qualities and encourages opportunity to influence student learning success in the school community. Award winners are Heather Baldwin, Notre Dame Collegiate in High River; Kathy Resch, Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Academy in Canmore; Andrea Thornton, Assumption RC in Oyen; Julie Trotter Holy Trinity Academy in Okotoks; and Dallas Wagner, Holy Family Academy in Brooks. The award winners were honored at the Council of School Councils meeting held May 18 at the Catholic Education Centre in Okotoks. Thank you to these special parents and all our parents for your commitment to Catholic education!
