BROOKS COMMUNITY MEMBERS: Please read the following letter from your CTR Catholic school trustee Mr. John de Jong regarding the designation of the old rodeo grounds to a new Catholic high school in Brooks. The letter clarifies any misconceptions in the community regarding the designation and the work being done by CTR Catholic, with commitment from the City of Brooks and support from the provincial government, to secure a new high school which is vitally needed due to over capacity of all three Brooks schools. In addition to the school space, the plan is to build a multi-services facility which will benefit the entire Brooks community, including immigration services, mental health facilities, pediatric assessments, a daycare and more! The site will also include sports fields, gymnasium, theatre, woodshop, culinary arts, gathering space.
