On Wednesday we celebrated Family Literacy Day at HFA! Classes buddied up and read together and some classes had special reading activities and guests. It was a great day to celebrate Literacy! 🎉📚 #hfaalltheway #ctrcatholic #hfaliteracy

On Thursday we celebrated the end of our literacy month of "Scoops for Stories." It was a huge success and we'd like to thank everyone who was a part of it for making the day great! Due to the extreme weather conditions that are forecast (see the earlier email from Christ the Redeemer regarding bussing this afternoon), we will need to CANCEL the 6:30 Christmas Concert for Grade 1 and 3 this evening. I encourage all who are able to attend the 1:30pm show. We will also be recording the 1:30pm show and make this available to our Grade 1 and 3 families after the show to watch in the safety and comfort of your own homes.

Wow! Holy Family Academy students helped collect 385 food items for the Brooks Food Bank during our Advent food drive last week. Thank you to all of the families who donated items. Miss. Connor's grade 4 class helped collect items, and for every 5 items, they put a 'present' under the tree. #HFAallTheWay #CTRcatholic
