We had our Advent school mass on Wednesday and have learned about the importance of waiting and getting ready for Christmas; preparing our hearts and minds for who is to come. TRANSPORTATION UPDATE 6:15 am – December 08, 2023 All of our schools are open, but some rural routes might not run due to icy conditions and accumulation of snow. Although conditions appear to have improved, significant snowfall and drifting on rural roads has created unsafe driving conditions. We expect in-town buses to run in all communities, but we anticipate that road conditions might cause some to run late. Even where we initially determine that rural buses can travel, individual bus drivers have the authority to cancel routes if they determine that local conditions may be unsafe. In the case that a route is cancelled, Southland Transportation will contact families. Students and staff driving to school should use extra caution and plan for additional travel time. Please do not leave children unattended at bus stops, and please ensure that they are dressed appropriately for the conditions. CTR will continue to monitor the road conditions throughout the day. Yearbooks are in! 😁 HFA students who purchased 2022-2023 yearbooks received them today. If a grade 4 student from last year purchased one, and they have a sibling currently at HFA, they were sent home with the sibling. If the grade 4 student did not have a sibling at HFA, those yearbooks will be delivered to CTK tomorrow. There are a few extra yearbooks that will be available to purchase at the HFA bookfair tomorrow for $25 each. #HFAallTheWay #JostensYearbook

Our parish priest, Father Marino, came in to bless our grade four bibles today. These special bibles are purchased for each grade four student by the school and school council.
